At Wimbledon Clinic of Natural Medicine, we offer comprehensive allergy profiling of 194 foods plus Candida test in one profile. We also offer a separate test of up to 200 foods and a specific test for vegetarians and vegans. It doesn’t have side effects and it is therefore, ideal for infants and children, as well as adults. Food Intolerance testing can help to identify unsuspected foods and the likely causes of both immediate and delayed reactions. Once the problem foods have been identified, we then design a tailored treatment programme to help manage the patient’s intolerance or to minimise and, where possible, eliminate exposure.
The test is carried out on a blood sample collected from a finger-prick to be tested in our accredited laboratories. Our food intolerance tests range from 194 foods plus candida test or 40, 60, 120, 200 food only panels. There are also panels for Vegetarian, Vegan, and Herb and Spices.

Intolerance to certain foods, especially gluten (wheat related grains) and casein (milk protein), is a common occurrence among children with developmental delays. Before adopting an elimination diet, however, many parents consult an allergist to determine if the diet is necessary. Surprisingly, after extensive scratch testing, the child is often found not to be allergic to any foods. Some parents choose to eliminate gluten and casein proteins anyway, and find their youngster responds with improved attention, sleep and/or language skills.
How is this improvement possible if the child was not allergic in the first place? The answer lies in understanding the difference between allergies and other types of chemical reactions within the body.
